Omar is an Agricultural Economist who serves as the Head of the Agricultural Extension Department at the General Authority for Agrarian Reform within the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Egypt. Over more than 15 years, he has gained extensive experience across agricultural extension, agribusiness development, livestock production, agricultural planning, and farmer capacity building. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and is currently pursuing a PhD in Agricultural Economics. His expertise encompasses project planning and evaluation, agricultural policy analysis, extension program management, and agricultural marketing strategy. Omar maintains a strong commitment to rural development, improving farmers’ livelihoods, and advancing sustainable agriculture through research, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
