Research Assistant

As a researcher and academic specializing in microbiology and sustainable agriculture, with a strong focus on plant-microbe interactions and climate-resilient farming solutions, my career is built on finding biological solutions to current agricultural challenges. Currently working as a Lecturer Assistant at Heliopolis University and pursuing my PhD at Ain Shams University, my work focuses on isolating stress-tolerant microorganisms to help crops thrive under harsh conditions like salinity and drought. Beyond academia, I bridge the gap between scientific research and real-world applications as an entrepreneur; I co-founded Ecocyan, a startup developing carbon-capturing biostimulants, and I actively participate in international, EU-funded projects (like PRIMA and Erasmus+) aimed at rural development and circular economies. Ultimately, my goal is to continue translating complex microbial data into scalable, eco-friendly tools that support farmers and protect vulnerable ecosystems.
